The late Sh. Jyotish Chandra Dasgupta who served as the First Secretary of the Delhi Football Association after the partition founded the Hindustan Football club in 1948 and led the charge to re-establish Delhi as a major football power in the country.
Hindustan FC was founded in 1948 and is proudly the oldest FC in North India with numerous accolades in our kitty.
AIFF and DSA certified, Hindustan FC is the first ever FC from North India to qualify for the final round of I-league.
We compete in some of the top domestic & international tournaments like Manchester United Premier Cup (India), Danone Nations Cup (India), Continental Cup (USA), and Inter-Academy Tournaments. The club was managed by Sh. D. K. Bose since 1980. During his time in charge, Hindustan FC had regularly competed in the National 2nd Division League, even coming agonisingly close to I-League qualification in 2018.
He had also earlier served in the executive committee of the Delhi Soccer Association, now rebranded to Football Delhi. “He was one of the strongest pillars of strength in Delhi football. His passion and devotion for the game was second to none. He made immense contribution to football in Delhi, and it was his hard work, commitment and dedication that made Hindustan FC a name in India
